Whether you’re on a leisurely tour or business trip, here are a few tips to help maintain your fitness.
Book a Hotel with a Gym
If you love hitting the gym, then booking a fitness hotel or one with a gym is the most appropriate thing. Contact the facility in advance and ask if they have a gym. If they don’t have one, ask if there is a fitness centre nearby. Remember to pack your tops for gym, sports shoes, and any other workout gear since you will want to get the most out of your training sessions.
Walk More
Not every exercise enthusiast loves to be in the gym. Is the tourist site you’re visiting a mile or two away from your hotel room? You can just walk to the place. You can also take a city stroll in the morning or afternoon, depending on the weather. Avoid using the lift during your hotel stay; use the stairs instead.

Riding a bicycle is one of the most enjoyable types of exercise, so why can’t you rent a bicycle instead of a car? You can use the two wheels to move around or dedicate time to ride.
